from the beginning the owner kelly bensabat was a nightmare to deal with, but the pups seemed great and i didnt find any bad info. the more i dealt with her ,the worse it got. i then switched the pup that i wanted, and she became cold and unavailable.she even booked my pups flight with out consulting me,and didnt even have the decency to call me. i was driving 2 hours to go to pick him up,which involved planning ahead of time my pup arrived sick, and then she was dishonest about treatment etc. i love the pup and am nursing him back to health but he is on tons of meds. she is a witch! • puppy mill super center

I was super excited about getting my new puppy with purebreeders.com and i had a great interaction with the staff seemed very professional in every way but when i received my dog of course he is our absolute favorite and has a loving home now but i am extremely positive that was not the case before we got him. we paid $1200.00 for him and took him to different places and they yes he is a westie but he also has alot of poodle in him. also when i picked him up at the airport he had fleas and a ear infection i could not believe that the breeder would allow the puppy to released like that. then... • The best ever

I got my Boston Terrier about a year ago through Purebred Breeders. I was worried about losing my money or something being wrong with my dog but I'm here to tell you - I am so thankful I got her and especially that I got her through Purebred Breeders. She is an absolutely beautiful and perfect Boston in every way. She is still such a puppy but is so a loving and faithful companion. I have had no health issues with her at anytime and she is so smart and really was very easy to potty train. I love her so much. I don't know what I ever did without her. Thank you so much Purebred... More...

  • I'm very satisfied!

After deliberating as to where to go for a healthy Frenchie puppy I finally picked Purebred Breeders, and I'm genuinely thrilled that I did. Any questions about my puppy to be were professionally and thoughtfully handled by the knowledgeable staff. They even procured a video from the breeder, which was really a joy to see! Adopting a puppy has been incredibly enjoyable and rewarding. I'm so happy I chose Purebred Breeders. More...

This is the review I added to measured up: Love my new poodle!!! We received our new poodle baby yesterday. Purebred Breeders were great. Every aspect of getting our little girl a was wonderful. I recently lost my 16 year old and 12 year old beloved poodles within 2 months of each other. The emotional pain was immense. Lauri was so sweet when I first called her about the poodle I wanted. She listened and was so helpful. Shari and Jessica with travel were attentive and helpful with each step of the travel process. • Fantastic Experience. No need to worry!

Everything was absolutely fantastic. I am very pleased with the excellent customer service I received from Purebred Breeders. Specifically I am impressed with the expertise, follow-up and detailed information that your representatives provided. Everything that your representatives promised was delivered and made the process stress free. I could not be more happy with the Pomeranian puppy Antonio that I recently adopted. More...

avoid dealing with this company. They treat the animals like merchandise, not living things. My breeder scheduled a two pound puppy on a flight with a 7 hour layover so that rather than fly direct on a hour and a half flight the poor thing would be in a crate for almost 9 hours. Reason? Breed just didn't give a hoot. These guys are awful. They don't care about the animals, just making $. More...

  • We were worried, but ....

We found our puppy on Purebred Breeders before we realized that they are the "middleman" for breeders all over the country. We were looking for a breeder in our home state and their site said we could purchase a puppy here. Well, we did do the purchase here, but the puppy was across the country and had to be shipped here. It really seems like a weaselly way to do things. However, that being said, we got our puppy, and like they said, he came out of the crate wagging his tail and giving kisses! We haven't had him to the vet yet, but I can't imagine there will be any... More...

  • Purebred Breeders Boxers

My wife and I decided after much research to look for a Boxer breeder. When we searched for a breeder in Massachusetts. When you google it this company has obviously invested money with web design such that their company comes up well-positioned. After speaking with the person that answered the phone (who knows what state they were in) and then , after insisting to speak to the breeder by phone, talking to the breeder, we were reassured that it would be a great idea to take the last two in the litter. Admittedly we were naive to the concept that taking two from the same litter might not... More...

  • Buyer Beware - Bit of a Scam

Expensive rip-off I just bought a very expensive puppy and thought I was asking all the right questions. I asked why the dog was so expensive. I was told the breeder was one of the best in the country and had to pay expensive stud fees. Will I get a full pedigree and registration? Definitely! was the answer. There was no AKC pedigree or registration but the bogus ACA registration for puppy mill & backyard breeders. There were no stud fees. This backyard breeder owned both the parent dogs. I thought I was getting a registered breed from a recognized breeder. Instead I paid a high price... More...

  • BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

Although I am not saying the company itself is disreputable, they are basically brokers for breeders who are churning out puppies Because of this they do not have the necessary info to really know what you are getting. The process is extremely flawed and there are absolutely no guarantees that who ever you speak to knows any more about the dog than what you read on line. I bought a puppy whose parents were 7 and 9 pounds and was clear with the first company representative that I spoke to that I was looking for a dog that would be about 7 or 8 pounds. She assured me that with the parents... More...

  • Happy Puppy and Customer

I'm rewriting this here to make sure my review is on the correct company website. I ordered a Morkie puppy from Purebred Breeders BEFORE I found the negative reviews about the company. Because of the negative reviews, I was extremely nervous about the puppy I would get. I talked to Cherie at Purebred Breeders, who spoke with so much passion and conviction about her company and the puppy I would get. She guaranteed me, without a shadow of a doubt, that I'd get the healthy, happy puppy that I ordered. I believed and trusted her so much that I went through with my order. I received... More...

  • Extremely Satisfied

We received our yellow Labrador Retriever puppy three weeks ago. She arrived on time, healthy, alert and active. We took the puppy to the Vet within 48 hours of arrival as required by Purebred Breeders and she is 100% healthy. I was very nervous after reading some of the reviews online but my daughter was in love with this puppy so I took the chance. Do the research and ask the right questions. I was able to find out the name of the breeder and dig a little deeper. The breeder was perfectly legit, only breeding Labs. • Golden Retriever skin problems and allergies

I purchased a golden retriever puppy in June 2011 from Purebred Breeders. Riley is our fourth GR so we are aware of the breed and attendant health problems. He arrived with pyoderma and a black and red belly. He was put on Prednisone and an antibiotic to clear it up. During the last year, Riley has been on Prednisone six times to clear up chronic skin issues. It was so bad that he was chewing off his coat to itch himself. I called and emailed Purebred Breeders numerous times. Each time I was told that they needed to know more. After spending thousands of dollars on veterinarians,... More...

  • Stay away from Purebred Breeders

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Purebred Breeders had their attorney defend them to the hilt. BBB gave up and said I could take it to another level and I just might. I bought a champagne miniature poodle for $1500. I got a white toy poodle. We kept waiting for her to grow, but in the end, she's a toy. These are brokers who couldn't care less about what they sell. They're in FL; I had to buy my puppy a plane ticket from TX. Purebred Breeders never even saw this dog. More...

Upon his arrival we noticed he didnt look to good, his eyes were sad and red he would not eat and if he did he would throw it right up. We assumed he wasn't feeling well do to his long plane ride. By the next day he still didnt look well and his coat was very dry, this shouldnt be the case on a healthy puppy. He continued to vomit consistantly. We were so worried we took him to the vet. I just received my French Bulldog puppy for Purebred Breeders and I cannot tell you how happy I am. My dog could not be more perfect. I was very nervous after reading some of the reviews online but do not let them sway you. Do the research, ask the right questions and know the breed you are purchasing. I bought my dog from PurebredBreeders.com in April 2011. I LOVE my dog, but he has some problems. If I had to do it over again, I would not choose this company. The Good: PureBredBreeders offered to put me in direct contact with the breeder in Arizona (over the phone). I am confident that she did not run a puppy mill - not only did she send videos and pictures of my dog and his littermates in her house, along with pedigree info, but she drove from AZ to Los Angeles, where I live, along with my dog's littermates and dropped them off at my house. • These people are dishonest

We purchased an Australian Shepherd from these people. What we got, according to the DNA testing we did, was a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. What we also got was a dog infested with parasites: hookworm, round worms and giardia. They refused to pay for the medications we had to purchase to cure the dog and they refused to rebate any of the purchase price we paid for a "pure-bred" that wasn't. More...

We saw a puppy on the internet and called in. The person we spoke to called the breeder to ask questions we had, then we proceeded to buy the puppy. The puppy was next checked by a vet prior to shipping by air and the person we spoke to at Purebred Breeders informed us that the puppy had 1 undescended testicle. Now I am fairly certain a breeder would know about this as puppy was 10 weeks old and should have told us *before* we bought him. To some people this would not stop a purchase but I heard that this can cause the neutering to be more expensive and may result in other complications.... More...

  • Awful Company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I bought what I thought was a beautiful long haired Chihuahua. I received a short haired Chihuahua with a defect of Alopechia. This is a congenital defect of no hair! They were very rude to me and said her lack of hair was cosmetic. I took her to two vets who confirmed her defect. Don't buy because they won't deal with any defects. So I'd been researching breeders looking for my first puppy and I decided on a cavalier king charles spaniel. I wanted to get one that was as young as possible so that I could make sure the puppy was trained and socialized to my standards. I ran across Purebred Breeders and I was unaware they were nationwide until when calling about a puppy a guy with a southern accent came on the line, this worried me but I decided that I could deal with it. We are awaiting the arrival of our little bundle of joy tonight and I wanted to post a positive review for Purebred Breeders.com. Having read their negative reviews, I was rather leery of going through them for our Frenchie, but honestly, their professionalism and quick replies made me feel better. I called pure bred breeders 9 days ago, we had a beautiful Pomeranian that we had recently had to put down that we had for 8.5 years, he was the love of my life and my was TRULY a family member, needless to say we were mortified that we lost him. I couldn’t even walk in the house because I would just break down into tears; my baby was not there to greet me! I found the folks at Purebred Breeders very easy to deal with and my puppy is great. I read some of these reviews prior to my purchase but knowing that anybody can say anything on the internet decided to go ahead with getting the puppy my wife and I had chosen. If any of these negative reviews are even half true it seems the company has made a lot of positive changes and the breeders they work with or of a higher quality and the checks and balances in place to ensure a healthy puppy arrives to each family are working. My family couldn't be happier!

I recieved my Chihuaha Montie from PureBreed and he arrived fine. He was paper trained and very loving he plays well with our Bulldog Rock and is a member of the family after only 3 weeks. My wife calls him the devil, but that is because he is a puupy. He arrived healthy and the Vet said he was a prime example of the breed. No problems call it luck I guess. We have had other Chihuahas and they have had their problems bad knees and napoleon temper , but we loved them. Montie is a rare treat we found and he did come with papers AKC. I did notice his grandfather was also his great granfather on the mother side. A little inbreeding, but acceptable by AKC standards.I am not saying Purebreed is the way to go for everyone, but once in a while you can get lucky if you do your home work with them. They delivered on what they promised me. Sorry for anyone who has had a bad experence.

BEWARE!!!! of Purebredbreeders.com aka Buypuppiesdirect.com They are a scam company!!! I am a reputable breeder who used them until I learned they are LIARS & Frauds!!!! I have been told many heartbreaking stories by puppy buyers who have been sold sick puppies or defrauded. I no longer list my puppies with the scam company. They charged $3100 for puppy give breeder $1800 and keep the profit of $1300 commission for themselves (for talking to the customer) Buyer's you can buy the same puppy for just $1800 direct from the reputable breeder! Just try to talk to them after they have your signed contract and money..... it won't happen! You are just a number. They don't care about you. They lied to several of my clients about me. Even forced a client to change puppies... lying saying my puppy had a level 4 heart murmur... which was a lie. My puppy is 100% healthy. This company goes by several different names, they even change their phone number to make it look like they are local in your state to the buyers. As a seller/breeder they try to get you to ship your puppy before they pay you. They screw the buyers and sellers every chance they get. Oh and lifetime guarantee... load of crap... just talk to clients who have tried to use their guarantee. PBB / BPD just won't call you back. Your call will never make it past their receptionist who are trained to micro manage the caller. Don't get ripped off. You can find the same puppy listed for much less on sites like puppyfind.com or nextdaypets.com. Research research research before choosing a puppy! Buy your puppy direct from a loving, respectable breeder! otherwise you are paying too much and getting scammed by a middle man!

I got my teacup Pomeranian said she had championship blood lines, she almost died the first night! She couldn't walk, so weak. Rushed her to my 24hr vet was hooked up to iv's for over a week! My vet told me she was from a puppy mill!! I was heart broken! This was the only dog I had ever bought, had one as a child and loved it to death. All my other dogs and cats are rescues. This is the type of thing I'm totally against was so angry with these people! I called them to let them know that she was from a mill and they disagreed, I asked are you a vet? No they said but we check out all of their animals housing and where they come from. I said well obviously one slipped by, because my vet who is a doctor and you are not said she was a result of a puppy mill! She still kept disagreeing . I didn't want to hear it anymore so got off the phone. My belle needs a totally knee replacement and has hip display. She is 2! I love her more then anything, but this people need to be stopped at any cost! Adopt or by from local breeders this is not the only horror story. Please stop buying animals off the Internet !

I was looking for a dog and first went to the spca. the let me adopt a dog that had been abused and i have a small child at home so i quickly took it back. I got turned off to the spca and decided to look for a puppy. I came across the purebredbreeders.coom site that had a cute puppy that was just what i wanted. I went thru the process and purchaesed this dog thinking that the "lifetime guarantee, and testimonials made this place legitimate. I started to look up the site and found multple complaints about puppies and health issues.

A few days later i got a call from the company and they told me my puppy had some issues with earmites and that it probably picked it up from other dogs. and then they listed the medicine that was given to it. The medicine that they used had not been tested or recommended for dogs but only for cats. I know it may not be a big deal to some but it didn't sit well form me and i canceled my order. I had two calls after that to convince me that the medicine is used by all vets and it is common. Not to get personal but i work at a place that does cutting edge research and checked a little bit more about the medicine and as it stated. To be used for cats and are not responsible for use in dogs. I explained to the second caller my profession and i was told that i was speaking to a scientist that has worked with animal for 14 years. I am not sure hat happened in life and not saying anything about this young lady but if you have a science degree and your doing telemarketing for a place that has had major issues with puppies then to each thier own but im not going to be a part of it. I called my cc and told them about this and they are disputing any charge over the 500$ that is non refundable. I could probably fight that but it would probably cost me more than the money. Im just happy i saved my self somewhat on having to pay out more down the road. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! At this point i am not sure where to get a pet from. maybe build a bear or something.

Shelties for $1400? And $1700? HELLO--you can get a show quality purebred sheltie for at the most $750-$800! That's a big sign right there they are breeding for money, not for the love of dogs! Stay away! A lot of show breeders have pet companions available and will have all the right testing down so you're not paying $$$$ later for medical bills.

Google breeders and do research!

I purchased a German Shepherd puppy through them for $1750 not including tax, etc. When she was 9 months old, started vomiting and having diahhrea. Vet did exploratory surgery, nothing. Turns out she has EPI - Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, which is more common in GSDs than other breeds, but not that common. We spent almost $2,000 finding out what was wrong. We can get $850 back (1/2 the cost) or choose another puppy. Only I don't get returned calls to find out the store credit for another puppy!

I purchased 2 dogs from this company and have nothing but good things to say. The puppies arrived with everything! The breeders they use seem to really care about the puppies. Both of them were potty trained already. Great guarantee too.
